cjnix29 Posted October 9, 2016 #1 Share Posted October 9, 2016 Has anyone been able to log on to the website in the last two days? I just get a 'we are on vacation" screen. I assume this is Matthew related? I had a price drop come up and then couldn't get on after I tried to contact my TA, and now...no go!
linkerbink Posted October 9, 2016 #2 Share Posted October 9, 2016 I just got off the website and there were no problems on my end.
cjnix29 Posted October 9, 2016 Author #3 Share Posted October 9, 2016 I can get it on my phone, but not my laptop. Weird. Even tried a different browser!
EmTeeNesters Posted October 9, 2016 #4 Share Posted October 9, 2016 We had a similar issue until we refreshed/cleared history. It appeared to be a cached site.
jkneern Posted October 9, 2016 #5 Share Posted October 9, 2016 Yes, all day Friday. Tried to book beverage packages at the discounted rate. Tried calling customer service but with everyone calling regarding the storm it was impossible to get through. Called yesterday and was on hold for over an hour only to be told the price for the drink package had gone up $4 pd/pp. A little disappointed that they wouldn't honor the price since I was unable to book online (they agreed that there were internet issues) and it was impossible to get through on the phone (they agreed the phone waits were upto 3hrs at one point)
Biker19 Posted October 9, 2016 #6 Share Posted October 9, 2016 We had a similar issue until we refreshed/cleared history. ^^^^this - first thing to do (clear cache) when having RCI web site issues.
WNYer Posted October 9, 2016 #7 Share Posted October 9, 2016 It was working fine for me, until today. After reading what others have said, I opened an incognito window and it worked.
Clarea Posted October 9, 2016 #8 Share Posted October 9, 2016 (edited) Has anyone been able to log on to the website in the last two days? I just get a 'we are on vacation" screen. I assume this is Matthew related? I had a price drop come up and then couldn't get on after I tried to contact my TA, and now...no go! Clear your browser cache and cookies. This usually fixes the "on vacation" message for me. Edited October 9, 2016 by clarea
Rare Lionesss Posted October 9, 2016 #9 Share Posted October 9, 2016 We have had problems in the past on weekends, but usually resolve by Sunday. It kinda is the norm. Later
Secretlyfi Posted October 9, 2016 #10 Share Posted October 9, 2016 When I get the "we're on vacation" message, I go to google and search for something specific, like "oasis of the seas deck plan" and choose one of the Royal Caribbean search results. This takes me into a deck plan screen and from there can navigate where I want. This usually works, but not always. It did work Friday when I read here about the beverage sale. Was able to get into my cruise planner and purchase it.

Wilson Posted October 9, 2016 #16 Share Posted October 9, 2016 If clearing cache does not work, make sure you are logged out, click below link first and then from that page login to your account or go to my cruises. http://www.royalcaribbean.com/cas/benefitsLoggedout.do
