bryanjaync Posted October 14, 2016 #1 Share Posted October 14, 2016 I booked a shore excursion online (sailing November 12) at the NCL site, but have decided on a different one. Trying to figure how i cancel an online booked shore excursion through the NCL site. Any help? Do i have to call ?
gma_pat Posted October 14, 2016 #2 Share Posted October 14, 2016 (edited) At this time you cannot cancel online - you do need to call to cancel or wait until you are on board to make the switch. Edited October 14, 2016 by gma_pat

pe4all Posted October 14, 2016 #4 Share Posted October 14, 2016 Just make a phone call to the shore excursion dept. We cancelled one excursion and switched a time on another just last week.
lar3313 Posted October 14, 2016 #5 Share Posted October 14, 2016 Can call shore excursion office to make the switch. Better yet do some online searching and book your tours directly with locals. The prices are generally about half and you travel in a smaller group instead of the large crowds. Thus you have a much more enjoyable experience and save money. hawkeyetlse Posted October 14, 2016 #6 Share Posted October 14, 2016 There's really nothing you can cancel online by yourself once you've booked it (excursions, dining, entertainment, spa, packages, gifts/OBC). It's easy to see why, because all of these items potentially require pre-payment, so a cancellation would require a refund. They don't want people booking and cancelling, booking and cancelling, and have to deal with the extra load on their booking and payment systems. And people would be calling anyway, to ask where their refund was, why they didn't get refunded the amount they expected, why something they meant to cancel was still on their booking, but something else disappeared instead, and please put it back the way it was before, what do you mean you need my credit card info again, is this some kind of scam, this never happened to me on Disney, etc. etc. etc.
Sky111 Posted October 19, 2018 #7 Share Posted October 19, 2018 (edited) I have been on hold for over 20 minutes, tried calling them three different times, they just do not answer the phone. - They just answered I was able to cancel with no issues.
