Dinner Reservation Times Not Matching

My dinner reservation times under my vacation summary are showing a half hour earlier then what I booked. The times on the email confirmation are the correct times that I booked. Does this happen often? Will I be getting the actual times I booked that show on my email confirmation? I sure hope I do.

This has happened on the last few cruises where I booked dining reservations. You should get a dining confirmation email with the correct times. Remember to double check this once on board as twice for for me it was corrupted or totally lost after embarkation. I brought the confirmation email with me so they honored the times as after boarding several venues showed as sold out.

How soon after booking should the confirmation email be sent?
Pretty much immediately, in my experience. Check your spam folder.

If your reservations show up in your Vacation Summary, or when you click on "Print Booked Items", you're fine (the times may be off by half an hour, this is a long-standing bug that I would not worry about). When your e-docs become available, all of your reservations will be confirmed there, too (with the correct dates/times).

So the e-mail confirmation is not absolutely necessary (although they should still send it, of course).

Call and ask if you haven't received a confirmation. Mine came 10 minutes after I talked to a NCL rep.

Mine were off also, the confirmation ones were the correct ones.

I called a few times and not one of them could explain or verify a time. Their best suggestion was to check onboard as soon as possible so I don't lose them by say, showing up at 6:30 (confirmed email time) rather than 6:00, my chosen time and the time on my vacation summary.

It's a mysteryyyyyyyyy.

One of my two advance dining reservations also did this - I had to check onboard to verify the time.

Also had to choose a reservation for 4 even though we were a party of 3, assuming that would not be a problem. It wasn't - the host even laughed when I pointed out there are no triangle shaped tables for 3.

Tried to say ask for an email confirmation be sent, my email confirmation came 10 minutes after I got off the phone.

I didn't ask them why they were different.

Gotcha. Were they the correct times though? Pretty sure Someone on another thread said they showed the email confirmation to the restaurant but because they were 1/2 an hour late per the time the restaurant had, they couldn't accommodate them.

It is strange that now my vacation summary is showing the correct reservation times that I made. Why would it not right after I booked the reservations but now it is?

Mine started showing correct also, maybe they finally got tired of people calling and asking about this. Maybe big brother is reading these threads.
