No drinking in the hot tubs on the Norwegian Jade

There are no living germs in NCL hot tubs. They've been nuked by the ridiculous levels of chlorine: the kind that you can SMELL on your skin for the next 24 hours. Seriously NCL needs to get its tubs under control so that guests can actually enjoy them normally.

 

You do not want to get into a pool or hot tub that has a strong "chlorine" smell. It is actually not the chlorine but the chlorine reacting to uric acid, sweat, and other organic substances. The more pee in the pool, the stronger the smell. Yuck!

Drinking alcohol while in HOT water for long periods can be dangerous for some. Probably a "legal" issue.

I have only cruised NCL. I wasn't impressed with any of it: the food, the staff, the mass market experience.

 

Than why hang out on an NCL message board :confused:
