Windjammer and wine

The Windjammer is a casual buffet which means you serve yourself, there are no assigned waiters.

There will be staff there they clear the tables and sometimes will offer to get your drinks.....so you MAY get one of them to uncork your wine....but I have never seen this happen.

Maybe you should eat your evening meals in the dining room where this service is available.

I have been hearing a lot of great reviews about windjammers. Maybe we will eat there one night. We are planning on bringing a bottle of wine to dinner every night. Can the servers at windjammers take care of uncorking?

You are only allowed to bring aboard two bottles per stateroom. How are you bringing a bottle to dinner every night? Do you mean you will be ordering your bottle of wine in the MDR each night, or do you mean you've bought your bottle of wine at a bar( pre dinner drink) and bringing that bottle to the MDR every night. You may drink your brought on wine and any purchased wine anywhere you wish.

We tried WJ 2 times last month , as said a little harder to find a server but not a big problem, they will open your wine, or you can order wine by bottle or glass, the food in there was not good on our cruise
