Had a long flight delay at FLL instead of leaving at 8:45 we are just now boarding at 11:16am. We should arrive Pittsburgh at 2am and we have about 2.5 hour drive. Thank you all for following along, it was so great sharing our adventures with you. We wish you all safe travels to your next cruise destination. :)

Any update if there is a chefs table?

 

 

I am not the OP, but do have current info. Chefs Table was not being held until 5 days into the recent TA. It is being held in a curtained area of Solarium Bistro currently. They had talked about an area in Chops, but thus far it has not panned out.

HappyChippy thank you so much for such an amazing review. It definitely has me even more excited for my upcoming cruise! We sail Jan. 27th with a group of 40 family and friends. One of the couples are in an accessible oceanview balcony on deck 14. I Believe you were on deck 14. If you were near 14162 can you tell me if it noisy overhead? Thanks again for your time...

I was in 14329 which is at the opposite end of your cabin 14162. Your room would be under the waterslide areas, but the good news to that is, that they usually close the Waterslides at 9:00P.M or 10:00P.M.

Really enjoyed your review. Could you please comment on the comfort of the beds? Are the mattresses pillow top? I've heard on this board that newer mattresses are extra firm. I need some cushion or my back will be killing me.

Hi Linda,

 

The mattresses in both inside cabins that I slept in, had mattress tops, I found them very soft, and comfortable with 2 big fluffy pillows.

Thanks Chippy for a great review.. I was on with you for the 3 day looked all around for Keara and the cast but never did see you, too bad we missed each other.

 

After seeing the discounts page for C&A members I just now realized that I forgot about the discounts and did not get my 15% discount on a 160.00 charge at the spa, nor the free glass of wine, didn't realize it until just now. Sucks! So much for just being automatically applied huh.

 

I enjoyed the Harmony but the casino was terrible in bar service at the machines and the Host staff were the unfriendliest I have ever come across, other than that it was good. I previously sailed on the Oasis and the freedom class and know that I prefer the freedom class better for me.

That Junior Suite cabin #8248 was my room for the 3 day first cruise. Great room, makes me miss the ship even more. I can't believe it was used for the tours. I wouldn't have minded if they just let me stay in there for a few more days.

Whaaat???? DH collects ship pins and there was not one to be found anywhere on the Harmony TA! We checked the LOGO Shop as soon as it was open after boarding and several times after that. It is a good thing that one of our fellow CC members had commemorative TA crossing pins made or he would not have had any. He would LOVE that one of the Ultimate Abyss. Guess he will be checking Ebay, LOL!:D
