Question on WINE Packages

Are wine packages still available? For example: 5 bottles for a set price or 7 bottles for a set price.

 

Or is the DRINK packages taking over?

 

If the wine packages are still available, will they be available prior to sailing or does it need to be purchased on the ship?

From what I've seen they've done away with them. Your options are to utilize your two bottles per stateroom, buy the beverage package, or purchase by the bottle.

Fleetwide wine packages are gone.

 

However, your sailing might offer a wine package. However, you won't know for sure until you are onboard and you cannot purchase pre-cruise. Check with the dining room staff or Vintages should there be one on your ship.

Thank you both for the information. It is a shame that they have done away with the Wine Packages for those who only drink wine and not other liquor.

Yes, check Vintages. Liberty Vintages was offering a wine package in Sept.

We drink mostly wine and like the drink package, decent selection of wines by the glass and 40 percent off all bottles under 100. We normally order wine that is 14 or 15 a glass so we pay the extra 2 or 3 dollars, also if just one of you get the drink package you can share the bottles

I've not been on Freedom lately, but I've not seen any wine package offered at all in the last year or so. This would have been on Explorer, Majesty, Oasis, Brilliance, and Rhapsody.
