epic escalator

I see there is an escalator mid ship on the epic. does anyone know where this leads too? does not show it on the website. Does it go up and down all decks? The elevators are only aft and forward and its a long walk. I am disabled and was wondering if this would help me out. thanks

Only one floor from Deck 5 near Taste and the Atrium up to Deck 6 between O'Shehans and the Casino.

If I remember correctly its not an escalator like you're thinking, its next to a set of steps that are maybe 4 or 5 in total, the "escalator" is quite comical when you see it. Im sure someone will have a photo up in no time.

Not sure what you're referring to, but it's a normal escalator between Decks 5 and 6, as BirdTravels explained. There are no steps next to these escalators.

I booked our cabins very close to a set of elevators to help my mom out. Just a idea if your booked mid-ship.

No. It is a regular, 1 floor, escalator. Up on one side of the Taste entrance. Down on the other.

 

Best picture I have (not accustom to taking escalator photos). You can kinda see it through the lattice of the new Taste entrance. Not comical.

As described, going down you arrive at the entrance for Taste (as well as Atrium Bar), and going up you arrive at the bank of machines used for slot tournament in casino.

No guest services, just wondered if they use the escalator as a small "show off" when passengers embark.

 

Left or right for O'Sheehan's when we embark on deck 6.

The forward elevators go down to deck 5 (and deck 4 when in port). The aft elevators only go to deck 6 (deck 4 in port) you have to get off on deck 6 and go through the casino to the escalator and take it down to deck 5.
