We will be on the Breeze in Jan. and I don't think I remember how people get picked to be on the Love & Marriage, Hasbro, etc.

Do you have to check with the Directors ahead of time? I would like to surprise my DH.

On our cruise this week, they took the longest married couple, then with the newest married couples & mid-range married couples, they had a makeout contest to determine who got to go onstage.

I think this varies by CD and how they prefer to choose. Love and marriage on Fascination was most newly married (turned out to be our table mates), longest married and then halfway between those two couples (which turned out to be 27 years).

My son (16 at the time) wore his giant sombrero and whooped it up and was picked for Hasbro.

Be friendly with CD staff at first instance. They may guide you how to increase your chance of being chosen

For the Hasbro show, the CD is looking for ENTHUSIASM. Scream, jump up and down, etc. to get the CD's attention. If chosen, you then have to answer a pretty easy trivia question in order to get onstage to play the game.
