Comparing ships new vs. old....

We do not specifically look for a new ship. An older ship is just fine providing that it is well maintained and has the amenities that we want....usually a choice of optional dining venues.

We stay away from anything that has reported issues with HVAC or plumbing. HVAC especially in warm climates. Older HVAC systems become less efficient over time. Don't want to be stuck in a sweatbox or a cabin that reeks of mold.

We typically go with a balcony gty, more often than not booked inside the final payment window.
