Vista Review... Not Impressed...

Makes sense. Thanks.

NP, there are gates on the exterior walkway that keep people from wandering down during the day. I don't know if they are open at night or not. We did walk thru them the other way (to the rest of the ship) but it did not click in my head to observe whether or how they controlled access. The pool area is quite nice, it will be interesting to see if this segregated space will be an issue moving forward during those times. I can tell you that the sale of all Havana cabins has FAR exceeded expectations.

There was a tablecloth on the 20 seat circular in the Reflections MDR on "elegant" night.

Must have taken a few looms to create a single non seamed covering, because that table is HUGE.

On the plus side, if the ship loses engine power, they can always tie the tablecloth to the ship's mast and use it as a sail. :D

On my first Royal Caribbean cruise, I checked into my cabin and turned on the tv and Titanic was playing right at the point where the ship was breaking in half. What a way to start a cruise!:rolleyes::cool::D Was that some kinda sick joke from my cabin attendant? LOL!

We were on the Freedom when the Costa Concordia sank. The outdoor big screen showed the morning news of the ship going down. I had to distract my kids from seeing the screen as we went to the lido breakfast.

Sadly, the whole ship is like that... They tried to fit too much in, and made all the rooms a LOT smaller. While the ship is larger, inside it feels like the rooms ate 1/2 the size they are on the smaller Fantasy class ships.

agreed, the ship added beds, but the amenities did not scale. front desk needed more people, pizza place was slow.... I was not impressed at all.

Can't wait to see that table. A 12 top is the largest I've seen on Carnival so far.

I see I'm not the only one that found "that" table memorable. I took a picture of it because I had never seen a table that big on a ship. The lack of a tablecloth did not ruin my cruise, and I don't think it smacks of "High School Cafeteria", or at least not any high school I went to. But then I didn't attend school in Greenwich, CT

Take the other Carnival ships, make the room only 2/3 the size... and then an additional 1000 passengers on board...

There are people that stood in line from the first show... never got out of line, and STILL didn't get in for the last show of the night, after hours of waiting.

yes , everything in this ship is smaller . and it makes everything feel crowded . i may sail on her again . but it will NEVER be around a holiday again . i like the liberty and magic much better

THE #1 activity we cruise for is the comedy shows. We make sure to go early to get a seat. If we weren't able to it would be a huge disappointment for us. I'm guessing they wouldn't slash the size of the casino. ;)
