Princess Live on the Royal - Question

Our stateroom is one deck above the Princess Live area on the Royal. It appears that the area is used pretty much all day from 8 am to after 10 p.m. I'm wondering how noisy it is and how much of that noise will filter up to our room. I'll pack earplugs anyway, but it would be nice to know ahead of time. Thanks!

You probably will hear noise. This is why I always have another deck of rooms above and below me because being under the pool or rooms where chairs are moved around were a real problem one time.

If you are on the starboard side, there is less chance of being affected by noise. Just bring an earplug just in case.

I think the above replies are opinions, but are not responses by passengers who have actually been in Cabins above Princess Live!

Just reporting back in case anyone wants to know in the future. Easyboy was correct; our room was on the starboard side and we heard nothing from the Princess Live area. That might be different on the port side.

Most of the evening activities shut down by 10 or 11 pm- Hopefully, this won't impact your bedtime too much.

Real world experience is always better than other people's guesses.

We were directly above Princess Live on the Regal and heard no noise whatsoever.

We stayed above Princess Live last spring on the Royal (port side) and didn't hear anything. I'm a light sleeper, and no issues.

Change your room if you are worried about noise.

Best to book a cabin with cabins above and below.
