I was a little taken aback by the size of the Magic. We had a 4j cabin. Everything seemed miles away! My sister was on the total opposite end in one of those extended balconies. The walk was endless! I loved the Magic but I'm not sure I like big ships. Makes me wonder why I booked the Vista with the same cabin type to boot! Lol.

 

I would like to try Royal. I wonder what class of their ships is closest to the Conquest class or the size of the Sunshine. That's really enough ship for me!

Hi! You say you loved the Miracle, and you live SOOOOOOO close to the Pride! lol I don't see that in your "cruising history".

 

Maybe that will get DH on a cruise. No airfare.:D:D:D

 

Would love to do the Pride. The reason we held off is because we aren't "cold weather" people, so we'd prefer to sail that one in the summer. The issue there has been other scheduling conflicts (land vacations to the closer beaches w/friends) and also the cost. I forget where I saw it, but it has something to do with sailing in the Chesapeake. Hopefully one day and soon. I'd prefer one that goes to Bermuda or the one that goes to GT, HMC, Freeport. No vacation this year though...hubby has a potentially serious heath issue that we're dealing with and cruising (or any vacation) has to be put on hold for a while since he will probably be using up all his vacation days, so it won't be this year. :( I just tried to find your email address, I had it at one time but when we updated computer, we lost our "address book". Yeah that's what everyone said. There's a similar LED thing in casino but smaller. Have a great cruise next week. Come back and share your thoughts when you return.

 

 

 

I thought it was my imagination when I thought the public restrooms seemed small! Yeah I noticed that too with the ladies room. Some of ours also only had one sink as well. I didn't notice the lack of glass elevators immediately but missed them when I did.

 

I, too, was on the December 11th Vista sailing with 53 others in my group. I concur with the horrible boarding. Took some of my people almost three hours to board. I wrote a more detailed review; however, it has yet to show up. Overall, I had a marvelous time. Even though it was crowded with long lines everywhere you turned, had to chase down a waiter for a cocktail, wait an hour for a drink at dinner, I wasn't at work. While it was freezing back here in Philadelphia, I was on the beach or lounging on the deck in my bathing suit with my family and friends. If I could sum up my experience in four words it would be "HIRE MORE STAFF CARNIVAL."

My previous response...I was thinking you were someone else here on CC, so that part in my comment about "losing your email address" I was thinking you were another CC friend. :o I think you and I were commenting back and forth on my Valor and Liberty (southern itinerary) reviews. We never emailed each other, so sorry for any confusion. My brain is currently running on "auto pilot". But I do hope to go on the Pride someday, with my DH.

I'm taking the dance cruise again and might cancel NCL Escape and replace it with another land trip.
