Kids on New Year cruise.

Will there be a lot of school age kids during the New Year cruise starting on Dec 31st?

My first New Years cruise.

Also is the Aqua Class considered a Suite class of something in between?

Aqua is not a Suite class so no access to Luminae or Michael's Club. Your dining room will be Blu.

And the # of school aged kids really depends. A lot of schools don't start back up until Jan 4th so parents might keep them out for the few days of "overlap." Others won't. No way to know.

We've done 2 New Years cruises, one 14 days and one 10. Neither had very many children on board.

It depends on timing and the start date of the cruise. Some NY's cruises start on Dec. 26 or 27. On those cruises, yes, there wil be more kids. A cruise that starts on Dec 30 will have fewer. Regardless, you may have some non-American children. European schools have long break over the two holidays and are able to vacation longer than American children. However, they will be significantly fewer and will be, for the most part, extremely well behaved. The longer the cruise, the fewer the children.

The children are really never that visible, and as the prior poster stated, they are almost always well behaved. Very unlike the other family cruise lines. Older crowd.

We are sailing with 4 kids for New Years on the Reflection. Schools in our area do not go back until the 9th.
