We were on the Jewel with Bruno in May. At first I was skeptical but he turned out to be one of the best concierge we ever had. Always pleasant, very helpful and thoughtful. He even came to our forward facing suite to take our family's photo as we were cruising through the glaciers.

Thank you to you and www3 this seems to be This is what some people we met said. He was less than popular with our friends and said that as we always compare to Ruth H and we will be very disappointed And just wondered if what we heard was felt by others it is!

Does anyone know who the current Hotel Director is on the Gem? If so, do you also know how long they'll be onboard? Thanks!

It is Richard Janicki. Does not get much of a mention but is a good man and fine HD - love him,

 

How long is there - we think until late Dec or early Jan 2018

On-board the Epic, as of Feb 4, 2017:

 

Hotel Director: Mustafa Gulbahar

Ass't Hotel Director: Stefan Antonescu

Senior F&B Director: Yannis Kazalis

Executive Housekeeper: Orlando O'Neill Manuel

Cruise Director: Pedro Serra

Beverage Manager: Zdravko Kohakovic

Guest Services Manager: Aminta Gomez

Exec Chef: Alok Kumar

Restaurant Mgr: Herman Gonzalez Rios

 

Just reading back over this - only a few months but how things have changed on Epic and not for the best in our view. The new HD .... I will say no more.

 

Mustafa,in our view, one of the very best we have ever sailed with, has as we know left NCL, and all the other team members dispersed around other ships or left NCL.

 

But the great news is that Yannis has returned to Sea but not with NCL.

 

So for you people who mention you need a hug from Yannis book with MSC!!!

Good to know about Yannis with MSC. Mustafa is still happy with Holland America.

Thanks we know - We know Musti is very happy and so is Prem. From what I hear HAL are very pleased to have two of the finest in the industry.
