Good spots for sightseeing/photography on Star Princess

We are first time cruisers sailing on a northbound Voyage of the Glaciers on the Star Princess with an inside guarantee next June. Where are some good public spots for taking in the scenery and photo ops? Are there good spots to set up a camera tripod without being in other people's way? Thanks.

Any spot on the promenade decks 7 and then up the stairs to deck 8 and all the way to the bow of the ship. The bow is a good tripod area if not to windy.

Horizon Terrace, aft, deck14. Not a good tripod area.

Anywhere along the rails on deck 15 including all the way up front.

Along the rails on deck 16, both the forward, not a good tripod area, section and the aft section, good tripod area, very few passengers.

Hello Walleyetim,

You will have some time to scout out some good spots to set up your camera. As the other folks suggested, the promenade and Horizon Court offer some good sight lines. On the Star, there are also some locations forward up from the pools that may be good for you. As I mentioned scout out the ship before you get to glacier bay and you will find a good spot to set up. I know of no one that has been unable to get some good pics. Enjoy your cruise.
