What does it mean if your cruise disappears???

My husband and I are sailing on the 2/12/17 fascination. I keep checking to see if the price has changed, and it has disappeared from carnivals website and travel sites as well. Usually the sailings don't go away until about a week before. Could this mean it is sold out? My booking is there and everything is ok on that front. Just a little confused and curious.

I'm on the Breeze right now and my sailing disappeared about 10 days ago, yet the ship doesn't even seem close to sold out judging by the # of people in the public places like the comedy club \ casino \ dining room

Every cabin is booked but probably many solos and not many triples/quads.

A cruise we were watching disappeared, and we later found out it had been chartered by a large group.

OP is sailing out on 2-12-17 so it wasn't a charter being that close to sailing.

Our 2/12/17 sailing on the Dream has also disappeared. It disappeared a few days ago, then came back with a few cabins available then disappeared again. A couple members of our roll call have reported getting calls today from the upset fairy.

Since this is the first sailing after drydock, they may be making some last minute changes to what they're doing, or just realized what was planned may be having an effect on some cabins? Just a guess....

That was supposed to say "Upsell" fairy, not "Upset" Fairy. No one wants a call from the Upset Fairy. LOL

 

I suspect that they are almost totally sold out because there were very few cabins left but they are working on upsell's and assigning gty's.

It is currently sold out. If anyone cancels, it will pop back up in the system until that cabin is taken. You just never know when a cruise will sell out. Sometimes it is over a month before sailing, and sometimes it is the last couple days before sailing.
