SYD Airport Shuttle to hotel

Who's used the Airport Shuttle from SYD to a hotel in the CBD of Sydney? Were you happy with their service? We don't mind sharing a shuttle since we can't check into our hotel until (at the earliest) early afternoon. We thought it might be interesting to see some of the neighborhood's of Sydney, on our way.

I don't know them. But I imagine most of the trip would be down the highway and you wouldn't see a lot of the suburbs.

We had problems with Airbus Shuttle and Royal Limousines. Both were a no show for the ride back to airport so we had to catch a cab. In all fairness, they did refund our money after chasing it but we almost missed our flights because of it. We were told some of these companies go by different names but is owned by one company (I don't know if there is any truth to that but if our experience is anything to go by, I would believe it!)

 

I have have no idea how we are going to get from the Sydney airport to the hotel in April [emoji848]

We are thinking about Uber. Never tried them before, but maybe this time.

We always factor in $25-$50 for a taxi as part of our cruises. We look at it as a mini tour. No stress, no waiting and it is point to point

Have always simply used a Taxi, when two or more. Approx $50 into the city. No detours, waiting for full shuttle.

Quick and efficient.

Last January we used GoSydneyShuttle and it cost $36 AUD from airport to Holiday Inn in the Rocks area. They were efficient and on time...

There are 2 lines of taxis. As you come to the front of the passenger line the despatcher will direct you to a "normal" taxi or a "maxi cab"

We always grab a taxi or maxi cab. No having to find the transport, booking or advance payment. Just grab your luggage and join the taxi line.

Then you are in control of everything.
