Are these two stops possible in Grand Cayman?

35 days till we sail, I can't wait! DH & I are on the same page for excursions for our stops in Roatan & Belize but not so much for Grand Cayman. We're in port 7:30-3:00. I want to go to the stingray sandbar & DH wants to go on the Cayman Spirits Company tour. Can we do both? Should I book the sandbar tour on my own or go with Carnival's Coral Garden & Stingray Sandbar tour which is 3 hours in length & if all goes accordingly we should be done at noon. Will this leave us enough time to do the 1pm tour at the Cayman Spirits Company & get back to the ship in time? Any & all suggestions/recommendations are appreciated. Thanks in advance :)

Our daughter and granddaughter booked two tours in Grand Cayman and barely made it back in time for the second tour. The first tour was a snuba trip (diving). Afterwards some of the people wanted to shop and the tour accommodated them. DD and GD walked a couple miles back or they wouldn't have made the second tour.

My point is you can't count on returning at the advertised time.

You will need to be IN the tender line by 2:30 if your posted sail away time is 3pm.....it might be best for you to split up and do the thing that interests you! BUT...if you can make a SHIP'S excursion for the last one, it will be done before the ship sails!

Book another Cruise for next year and do whatever excursion you decided not do on this Cruise next year.

Grand Cayman is one of those "I hope we don't miss" ports of call. This could mean you might have to wait out a bit of swells prior to getting ashore. This could cause your first excursion to run late. I agree with a previous poster...book one this cruise and book another cruise next year for the second excursion. We had a similar dilemma, Sting Ray or Turtle Farm. Missed the port last year..so giving Sting Ray a try next month and will just have to visit the Turtle Farm next year:D
