Speciality dining with a toddler?

We are on the Adventure of the Seas in April and they are offering a BOGO Speciality Restaurant for $30. We would like to take advantage of this but wondering since it has to be used on the first two nights, and traveling with a 3 year old, what our options would be. What is the charge for a 3 year old if we were to take him with us, and would they have a children's menu he could order off of? Or is the children's activity center open on the first night, where we could take him to Windjammer for his dinner and then drop him off for a couple hours of play, while we go to dinner? My husband thinks it may be too long to take him to speciality dining, as he is not going to sit for a couple hours while we eat.
