Drinks available for in-room fridge

I know that we can get cans of club soda in our room fridge. Has anyone asked for tonic water? Thanks.

I am on Viking Sea and we have Schweppes Tonic in our refrigerator.

There was tonic in our refrigerator and we asked that we receive 2 bottles daily. We had a PV stateroom, so liquor was included in our refrigerator. We asked for only gin and received 4 bottles daily.

How cold are the refrigerators? Is there room to add some things of your own? I'm a chocolate milk drinker and it's also nice to have a small carton of yogurt around for an evening snack.

You can put whatever you want in the frig and it is cold!

KyOh, ask your room steward for the limes. Our friend wanted lemons each day and they were provided.

We asked for Schweppes Bitter Lemon in our PV cabin, and they provided it twice a day, along with tonic per our requests. Bitter lemon is no longer available in the U.S. but is in Britain and Canada. You can specify what liquor or soda/mixers you want.

Has Viking Ocean changed their excusion of Champagne in the Silver Spirit package ( even though it's within their $15/drink limit)?

 

They tried to change it on our VO Cruise this last December.

It has never been a DV perk; it certainly wasn't when we sailed in June. Are you sure you were in a DV cabin?

We had it in our PV cabin, but I never saw it advertised in DV cabins..... maybe it was a limited time special? We are in DV this next time and as much as I wish it were so, we will not have liquor in the fridge on our next trip.

Not entirely a problem. You can purchase nips from the mini-bar service or, with Viking's liberal BYO policy, you can bring bottles on board.

Thanks Peregrina....we plan on all of that!!😂 :eek: Regardless of cabin - on Viking it will be fantastic and we feel very fortunate to be able to experience these travels.

And save a lot by taking the smaller cabin. Then you could enjoy more to drink on the cruise and still save. We were in V cabin and ordered coffee every morning through room service and saved quite a bit yet still had the same space as the DV cabin.

That was my plan for our Caribbean trip, we also purchased the silver spirit package . My understanding is that we get the liquor/ beverages in our refrigerator because of this
