RaiderDuck Posted February 18, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 18, 2017 Just got done with a four-night Ensenada/Catalina Inspiration Cruise. I don't have Fun Times pics because we forgot to take them, but the Inspiration's Fun Times has been reduced to a simple trifold brochure: the whole thing could fit in a standard letter envelope. I hope this isn't a trend for the rest of the fleet. Other notes on our very nice cruise: The Mongolian Grill is gone, replaced by a Guy Fieri burger bar on one side and a burrito station on the other. The elevators need some serious work. Buttons don't always function properly and sometimes the elevator will decide to go up, even if no higher floor buttons have been pressed. Also, the call buttons don't always stay lit. We took the Behind the Fun tour (highly recommended) and according to one crew member, the ship is scheduled to be dry-docked at the end of 2017. Shaded Lady Posted February 18, 2017 #2 Share Posted February 18, 2017 That's true- according to Carnival's site, Inspiration is supposed to be in dry dock from 11/05 - 11/15.
SadieN Posted February 18, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 18, 2017 Must be a California thing. The Ruby Princess and she had a few franken-elevators also last month. The Inspiration elevators worked fine in December.
