tfox1018 Posted February 20, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 20, 2017 Stopping at Grand Cayman. Not planning on doing an excursion. Any suggestions for somewhere fun to go for a drink and bite to eat?

cb at sea Posted February 21, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 21, 2017 GC has NO need of "excursions"...it's a very easy DIY island! Great public transportation...usually $2.50 pp....and the buses are regular and friendly! Get a guidebook....it will tell you EVERYTHING that's on GC! lovevacadays Posted February 26, 2017 #7 Share Posted February 26, 2017 We were in Grand Cayman in 2009 and really enjoyed Breezes by the Bay. Great view of the ships in the harbor. P,us the hurricane drinks were great and strong. :D:D:D
vvmitchell Posted March 9, 2017 #8 Share Posted March 9, 2017 If you want a great island tour by a 3rd generation local, give Shirley a look. Just returned from this and really appreciate her knowledge, sincerity, and love of her island. She has an impeccable van to pick you up and take you around the island. Also reviewed on TA. Cayman Routes Island Tours. Cayman Sampler This is our most popular tour which is a scenic, cultural and historic tour to the Eastern end of Grand Cayman with stops at the Pedro St. James historic site, the Queen Elizabeth 2 Botanic Park, a Cayman style lunch at Vivine’s Kitchen or similar and the Blow Holes. Includes all entrance fees, lunch, and bottled water
