jujubird Posted February 20, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 20, 2017 Okay- this is probably a bit of a weird one, but we'll be on Adventure on 2/25 and are bringing our 20 month old. We'll be bringing along her beloved hippo that helps her fall asleep (it lights up/plays white noise). I'm packing a ton of spare batteries, but remembered that I need a screwdriver to change the batteries out. Will packing one cause any problems- like a trip to the naughty room? Will try calling Royal later today (after I think of any other last minute questions I might have re: traveling with our kiddo- since this is our first cruise with her), but in case anyone knows before hand, I thought I'd ask. swilliams1660 Posted February 20, 2017 #2 Share Posted February 20, 2017 I don't think it will be a problem. It's not like you're trying to smuggle orange juice and vodka.
Fouremco Posted February 20, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 20, 2017 You might want to consider a small multi-tool like the Leatherman PS, which has no knife: https://www.leatherman.com/style-ps-25.html?dwvar_25_color=11#prefn1=sizecategory&prefv1=Keychain-Size&start=
3CatsInMA Posted February 20, 2017 #4 Share Posted February 20, 2017 Any one of the bars will be happy to set you up with a screwdriver.
Biker19 Posted February 20, 2017 #5 Share Posted February 20, 2017 It is all up to the port security folks, but even if stopped, explain the situation to a supervisor and common sense should prevail.

Pack it in your toiletries/makeup bag. Have never been qestioned about thinks I have mixed with my hairspray, soap, shampoo, etc.
Fouremco Posted February 20, 2017 #7 Share Posted February 20, 2017 Duplicate of earlier post. CC is a bit wonky today!
LeeW Posted February 21, 2017 #8 Share Posted February 21, 2017 Battery charger and rechargeables work better than a ton (literally) of batteries. And don't forget all the charging cables.
