redbaron70 Posted February 26, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 26, 2017 Sailing over Easter for the first time. Do they do anything special for the holiday (religious service, Easter dinner)? Just curious. Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Forums
roger001 Posted February 26, 2017 #2 Share Posted February 26, 2017 Don't remember about that. But we've done it once before and will again this year. Last time, my wife had sneaked into our room an Easter basket for me filled with chocolate eggs, rabbits, etc. Brought it in her luggage. My Sweetie! chefrubba Posted February 26, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 26, 2017 Sailed Easter Sunday 2015 Breakaway out of NY. Didn't see anything about on board mass but the main dining room served roast leg of lamb. The kids club did hold a ship wide Egg Hunt. We also brought Easter goodies onboard for our daughter. We are sailing the Dawn out of New Orleans leaving Palm Sunday. Looking forward to Easter in New Orleans. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

Just curious. Thanks! In general NCL does not put on any special religious services. However it will make a room available if you ask in advance for self guided religious services. On the Star from Rome to Dubai one of the small rooms near the Library was regularly in use for "bible study". Also they will make rooms available for Sabbath or Sunday worship that is either self led or if there is a Rabbi or Preacher on board who is willing to lead; again I would suggest that you ask in advance. cb at sea Posted February 26, 2017 #5 Share Posted February 26, 2017 There is an Easter Egg hunt, perhaps an Easter Bunny roaming about...and decorations at dinner. Usually turkey is on the menu.
