BZ quarantee vs BU $600 more

is it worth it to grab 6167 for 600 more? Confirmed cabin # or hold out for BZ quarantee forward. Please advise.

Thank you. Barbara

In my opinion, no. But I'm a fan of BZ.

If you're talking about a Cunard Saver fare vs. a non-saver for 6167 it's more complicated (but you're in CA so I assume you're not booking a Saver fare) Likewise, I'm willing to pay a little more for a glass-front balcony depending on the itinerary but BZ vs. more money for Deck 6 isn't a difficult option for me.

QM2 is big enough that there isn't much pitching in most sea states so there's not really much risk in being further forward.

If you book a BZ guarantee, it won't necessarily be forward. You could be allocated a higher grade cabin but in what might be considered a worse position. So next to a launderette or underneath a noisy deck. If you are happy to take the risk then save the money.

Take the Guarantee ! $600 is far too much just to justify for locking in just another Sheltered Balcony .

You could book what appears to be an ideal location only to encounter

noisy neighbors ☹️

Take the chance on a free upgrade .

Personally we never received the category booked as a Guarantee , always received at least a 1 category upgrade , sometimes more , on Cunard and most other cruise lines .[emoji4]
