Help!

Can anyone recommend do taxi/minibus company that we can use to transfer from Civitavecchia to Rome?

We are a large group (children included) and gave decided to Rome on our own. The train option worries some of the party so we thought we'd prebook a car. I'm getting some huge quotes back and wondered if you guys had some better suggestions??!!

The train option is super simple - you literally cannot get lost and it is very cost effective. But if you insist on private transfer, you might hire Romeinlimo.com. They are all going to be very expensive, though.

Bob's Limo Service and it's very reasonable if there are more than 4 of you to split the cost. There were five of us and it was wonderful. YES...the train is less expensive, but we were also worried about dragging the luggage on the streets, up steps, or having to watch our luggage on the trains. They were there waiting on us with a sign. We used them for transport from FCO to Rome (pre-cruise hotel), Rome to Civitevecchia port, then upon return from the port back to Rome for post cruise, then from hotel in Rome to FCO for our flight. We got a discount for having four transfers with them and they also offer a senior discount if either of these will help you. We had different drivers and they all spoke English perfectly, were prompt, reliable and it was completely STRESS FREE! They get GREAT reviews, by the way.

Thanks so much! I'd already priced up our 'flight to port' transfer and got a good deal with Atlas. But I'll contact "Bob's" and see what they come up with if we use them for Rome too!
