Will be on the Breakaway in May for my 8th NCL cruise. Never did the vibe before. Curious to hear first hand accounts of people that have done vibe on Breakaway. Most importantly, once on board, where exactly do I run to so I secure a vibe pass? Would like to hear any positives (or negatives) about vibe on Breakaway. Thanks all.

we did it once and LOVED it. we spent all day every day in there, including every afternoon on port days (only got off in the mornings).

bartenders knew us from day one, and our drinks. comfy chairs, uncrowded hot tubs. despite being sold out, there was only maybe 10 of us there on a regular basis. most i ever saw was perhaps 20, and that was very rare. we usually had a tub to ourselves.

highly recommend. we got to port early (10am) and got boarding group 2. My fiance RAN to customer service and passes were already gone. he was adamant and said he wanted them, what could they do. after some "consulting" they magically came up with 2 passes. i think if anyone runs into this, they should persist. the place is never full, at least on our sailing, which was outside of school breaks/summer/holiday. i expect this may be different on packed ships.

You get the pass at Guest Services.

Prior to your sprint, the new embarkation policies allow Havens guest to board first. Then Casino guests. Then Ambassadors, Platinum Plus, and Platinum members. Hundreds of people will board before general boarding starts. Then they will start general boarding using boarding group numbers.

Thanks for the info. I am a guest of CAS, so maybe I have a good shot?

I'm hearing conflicting things. I would really appreciate it if a recent Breakaway cruiser could clarify something for me. Are VIBE passes sold at Guest Services, or Headliners? I read here Guest Services, but a co-worker who recently sailed (who didn't get a pass) said he thought someone on board said they were sold in Headliners. I don't want to make the mad dash to the wrong place! THANKS!

Was on last week. You get them at guest services. If in the Haven, no need, just tell the Haven concierge on arrival and they will get it for you. The bracelet on our cruise was orange with Haven red. It was never full last week but then again we had some cooler days. If the ship is full and the weather is nice and it is a sea day then it is a great perk to have as the rest of outdoor bars and deck can be a zoo.
