nchikk Posted March 20, 2017 #3 Share Posted March 20, 2017 Yes, as long as the ship is not late arriving back at port.
winddawn Posted March 20, 2017 #4 Share Posted March 20, 2017 Going on the Dream in June. There is a flight at 12 noon. Can I make this without any problems? Thanks. Carnival recommends no flights earlier than 11:30 AM, so you should be fine assuming there are no delays in docking. https://www.carnival.com/cruise-transfers/new-orleans.aspx
asalligo Posted March 20, 2017 #5 Share Posted March 20, 2017 I just sailed on the Dream and with self debark, I was off the ship before 7 am.
forb0054 Posted March 20, 2017 #6 Share Posted March 20, 2017 I have flown out of New Orleans on Carnival Cruises 5 times. We have always been at the airport by 8:30 the latest 9:30. Just do Self Assist if you are worried and you should be plenty early. Our last cruise out of NOLA in September we were at the airport by 8:30 and couldn't even check into our 1:00 flight yet. You will be more than fine.
dogman58 Posted September 4, 2017 #7 Share Posted September 4, 2017 we will be sailing on the Dream next April and I'm looking at a 12:30 flight. We won't be able to do self debarkation, so if we are doing the standard debarkation procedure are we cutting it close with a 12:30 flight? Thanks

Shaded Lady Posted September 4, 2017 #9 Share Posted September 4, 2017 we will be sailing on the Dream next April and I'm looking at a 12:30 flight. We won't be able to do self debarkation, so if we are doing the standard debarkation procedure are we cutting it close with a 12:30 flight? Thanks I've heard others who have a specific flight time have gone to Guest Services the evening before the debarkation date and asked for an earlier debark number... if you can't do Self-debark and you're worried this might be the way to go. coevan Posted September 4, 2017 #10 Share Posted September 4, 2017 you should be even without early debarkation, pretty much the ship is emptied by 10, the airport is 20 minutes away. Take a taxi or Uber so you don't have to wait for a shuttle to fill up.
