You know what... you may be right. It does look larger than the rendering. I imagine it’ll “shrink” a bit once the background is blue.

But you are right...

Shrinkage may occur when the ship hits the cold blue water.

Other than it looking like the Bliss is closer to the end of the building (into a mass of framework), what is it I'm supposed to notice here?

Man, that "Wyland" script is way bigger than the rendering. Hopefully (and it looks like it might be the case), the entire graphic is extended as well so proportionally, it's about the same (except the whale isn't going to be proportional).

I find it very interesting and good that the only negative things I've recalled people saying about the new ship has been the size of "Wyland" on the hull. If that's any indication, this ship is going to be freaking amazing!!!

 

Just remember, when you are on the ship you probably can't see "Wyland" anyway! lol (By no means are my comments meant to be critical of those talking about the size of "Wyland")

2 - loss of Modernos

3 - loss of sports deck / basketball

4 - More fee activities (go-kart)

5 - Continuation of Margaritaville debacle

6 - District Brew House not expanded to all of deck 8

Only "gripe" I have is Margaritaville. Didn't care for it on Escape but that's just me.

 

Also no Bayamo or Pinchos. But I only ate at Pinchos once so I'm of the opinion that it's definitely not a deal breaker for me that it's not on Bliss

While I’m a fan of Bayamo, Ocean Blue feels like a better fit for this ship/itinerary. The question remains... will we get a raw bar along with it, which would help fill the Pinchos void.

Agreed. Ocean Blue seems a better fit especially when she is sailing Alaska

I'm ok with these. I've never been a huge fan of sport decks because it tends to be so windy up there, it makes playing anything with a ball difficult. And trading it for the biggest go kart track at sea? I'll take it. NCL nickel and dimes you for everything. People don't seem to complain about paying for the restaurants so I don't see the problem here. I like Jimmy Buffet, but never was a big fan of his restaurant and I don't drink, so I don't mind that an entire deck isn't taken over by a Brew House.

 

Hopefully Howling at the Moon will still be around.
