CruiseMomTX Posted March 23, 2017 #1 Share Posted March 23, 2017 My husband got an email and regular mail offer for a Premier cruise and there are several to choose from. This is his first offer and we are interested in booking but not sure whats so different about this vs a regular cruise. We appreciate any information and help. The sailings are all for 4 or 5 day cruises and we also wondered if we would be able to book 2 rooms so our kids can go with us they are 17, 14 & 14. Elaine5715 Posted March 23, 2017 #2 Share Posted March 23, 2017 You can book two cabins but I think the casino rate only can apply to one and the perks are only for the casino guest plus one adult in same cabin (not the cash). Premier casino cruises have some perks but since the associated activities are all in the casino, there isn't much family time.
Davey Wavey Posted March 23, 2017 #3 Share Posted March 23, 2017 The email and regular mails do a good job listing the perks. Some are: - Discounted room cost for ONE room with 2 people. Extra people in the first room or other rooms are regular price. - Usually some amount of cash from the casino cashier - Priority embarkation if you want to arrive early, although your rooms still aren't ready until 1:30pm - Free drinks card while in the casino for first 2 people - The 3% fee on buying chips for table games on your S&S card are waived - Casino logo gift (usually tumblers or playing card sets) - Little goodies in the room (cookies, choc covered strawberries, bottle of wine) - Free entry in game tournaments - Cocktail party with appetizers and free drinks - Lots of raffles that are only for premier members, plus entry in the regular drawings based on amount of play Read the brochure to see if I missed something. evandbob Posted March 23, 2017 #4 Share Posted March 23, 2017 I used to get $300 in casino cash plus selected sailings were 7 day cruises code PC3. I've gone on several, very nice, but now, my latest offer was changed to $200 casino cash and sailings were just 4 or 5 day, which I don't do. I prefer longer cruises lately. I've gambled more, not less, on my recent Carnival cruises, so I'm not sure why this was cut back?????

I have both the regular Premier (7 days) with the PC3 code and the Premier Getaway offer with P6G code.

The offer states that the person that received the offer must sail so it is like a past guest or senior rate. The second stateroom doesn't get the benefits because they don't qualify. May1cruiser Posted March 23, 2017 #7 Share Posted March 23, 2017 We found ourselves hanging out in casino a lot for the casino events. Have one more premier booked, but may not continue with these. Missed many other ship events waiting on drawings. We did actually win two drawings, so I cannot complain, but we spent the winnings back waiting on the next drawing. Elaine5715 Posted March 24, 2017 #8 Share Posted March 24, 2017 Some of the premiere activities are pretty low ball. Prizes should start at $500 not $
