Tendering into Monaco during Grand Prix

With the track restrictions in Monaco during the Grand Prix does anyone know where Celebrity would tender their passengers ashore. Do they persist with Port Hercule or go elsewhere?

I don't know about the qualifying and practice days (ie Thursday, Friday, Saturday) but if you're asking about the actual race day I highly doubt you'll tender into Port Hercule. It's like a zoo there and security would be high.

I was there for the race day (Sunday) about 5 years ago on a much smaller ship than Celebrity. We tendered into the Port de Fontvieille which is just around the headland from Port Hercule. All of the cruise ships that were anchored in Monaco Bay that day used the same.

HTH - I realise it's been a while since you asked the question !

The area will be very busy the day before the race, the day of the race and the day after. We were there all those days in 2015. With that said it is very well organized with a lot of personnel in place to guide you along and we had a wonderful time. Best to walk and not try to take vehicles around the area such as a tour.

You're welcome.

By now you may already be on the ship or boarding in the next few days - have a great cruise.
