Pia1913 Posted March 30, 2017 #51 Share Posted March 30, 2017 I paid catalogue price on Carnivale in January 1989. 😱 Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Forums mobile app As we all did back then. Our first one was the Mardi Gras in 1980

Just FYI: Buy one, get one 60% off = 30% off each guest Buy one, get one 50% off = 25% off each guest 30% off each guest =Buy one, get one 60% off 25% off each guest = Buy one, get one 50% off

Any deductions/reductions/etc. come off the one that will be advantageous to Royal.
MightyMike Posted December 20, 2019 #58 Share Posted December 20, 2019 I think it would be better for the economy as a whole if companies would stop using these confusing, if not deceptive, pricing practices. Everyone is doing it now. I'm sure all of us have been bitten by it at one time or another--only to be referred to some fine print. The only thing it does is it makes us more reluctant to purchase anything big. It sows distrust. It ends up harming all companies--not just those that abuse the trust.
