Excursion Question-Western Caribbean

Anyone used shoreexcursions.com? (Shore Excursions Group) It was recommended by agent who we didn't end up using. Going on Oasis of the Seas in May and want to use them for an excursion in Jamaica to Dunns River Falls and in Cozumel for a Catamaran snorkeling cruise. We would just like to hear comments from anyone who has used them before we book. Thank You!

They are a consolidator-not the actual excursion provider- and are only as good or as bad as the individual tour provider. They are legit, if that was part of your question. You would be better served going directly to the provider of services rather than using a consolidator who adds there own fee on top. One of the great features of CC is getting names of tour operators from other cruisers who have used them.

We have used them once, in Cozumel. Yes, they are a consolidator and the tour company was local. It was a dune buggy tour and really fun, except that a couple of the buggy's broke down--we were soon back on our way though and other than that the tour was well run.

 

That said, we usually don't use a consolidator; instead we find local companies, largely using recommendations on these boards, or sometimes we pick up tours on the dock.
