Looking for parking suggestions for Ft. Lauderdale departure. The search shows info from 2010, so was hoping to get some more recent info.

We will be driving from our hotel on thee west coast, so won't be staying at hotel near the port.

TIA

A vote for parking at the Port due to convenience and not having to wait or look for a shuttle to wherever you parked your car. More expensive, but the parking facilities are well maintained, are lighted at night, and are as secure as they could possibly be.

Agree with the above!

We always park at the port terminal and have been pleased -- extremely easy and safe. :D

We used Park n Go and it couldn't have been easier. Prepaid online and saved a fair amount over just showing up. Shuttle was departing when we arrived so no waiting. They are essentially right next door to the port so very little transit time. Upon return, we waited maybe 10 minutes for a shuttle and were dropped off right at our car. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

That is exactly how our service with Park n Go was. We have used a lot of different off site parking places in different ports and I can say Park n Go has always been the best.
