KevintheIrishDJ Posted April 11, 2017 #1 Share Posted April 11, 2017 The last time we sailed TA, the final port was South Hampton. We just walked off the ship. There was no Customs or Emigration. Does the same thing happen in Dover?

Bob++ Posted April 11, 2017 #3 Share Posted April 11, 2017 There is no way of knowing in advance. In general Customs and Immigration are more interested in the ferry passengers, but they can just decide to do checks on cruisers if they want to. Does the same thing happen in Dover? I have done several transatlantic cruises ending in the UK and immigration was always processed onboard the ship. John Bull Posted April 12, 2017 #5 Share Posted April 12, 2017 Whether Dover or Southampton, you won't know that you've gone through Customs. Unless you feel a tap on your shoulder. ;) JB :)
