torpeedo Posted June 7, 2018 #154 Share Posted June 7, 2018 (edited) We have a couple of cruises booked on the NEW Mariner and looking very forward to them. I was looking at the upgrades today and wondered about something. They list the new Diamond Club which is listed for Diamond, Diamond Plus, and Pinnacle club members. They also note the Suite Lounge which is listed for guests only in Grand Suites and higher. No mention of Pinnacle Club members who do have access to the current Suite Lounges. Is this indicating a change or did they just fail to mention. The Diamond Club is going to be very very crowded!! I still see the below on P benefits so I think it's just an omission. 20 Pinnacle Members are entitled to exclusive privileges. Access to the Suite Lounge is limited to Pinnacle Club Members and Suite Guests only. Edited June 7, 2018 by torpeedo additional info

I suspect it is just an inadvertent omission, but we won't know for sure until Mariner starts cruising out of Miami soon.
Biker19 Posted June 7, 2018 #156 Share Posted June 7, 2018 Dora’s anyone know when Mariner leaves Cadiz for Miami? Probably middle of next week - about 7-8 days (the time for the TA) before the first sailing.

Biker19 Posted June 7, 2018 #158 Share Posted June 7, 2018 Is she sailing without paid passengers? Yes, that was the cancelled portion of the world cruise from Singapore to Miami.
Milwaukee Eight Posted June 7, 2018 #159 Share Posted June 7, 2018 Yes, that was the cancelled portion of the world cruise from Singapore to Miami. I thought the TA started originally when she got into Barcelona? Couldn’t they have sold the Westbound? I guess they will use the guest-less trip to finish work. pspercy Posted June 8, 2018 #162 Share Posted June 8, 2018 Mariner has (had?) some of the best stairwell/hallway art we've seen on RCL ships. I hope it's still there :) (We were on her 2011/12)
ptf2009 Posted July 23, 2018 #163 Share Posted July 23, 2018 Forgive me if this has already been answered, but with the most recent refurb of Mariner, were new cabins built replacing Jester's? If not, when did this change occur. Thank you for your response.

If not, when did this change occur. Thank you for your response. New cabins replaced the first floor of the nightclub (deck 3). Izumi replaced the second floor (deck 4). This was done during the recent dry dock.
