what time does the ship leave the home port on a cruise?

sailing the Magic june 24th, and want to plan the night basically. When does it usually leave port Canaveral? and when is muster?

Your itinerary will tell you what time the ship arrives & leaves all ports. Muster is usually 30 minutes prior to leaving. So, if your ship is scheduled to leave at 4pm, muster is usually at 3:30pm.

According to the Carnival website, your cruise departs at 4PM. It may leave a bit later if there are delays. Muster drill would be around 3:30P.

 

As that's late afternoon, you should be okay with what ever you wish to do that evening/night, so plan away.

Do plan to attend the Welcome Aboard Show at 7:30pm that first night. It is fantastic. Dr E is crazy funny and does some fun stuff. Then the Playlist Performers do a 30+ minute performance. It is really good hour of fun and music.

From watching the webcam, WEEKLY, :o, I can tell you the Magic pretty much leaves right on time, at 4pm. She is always the first one out.
