what time does the ship leave the home port on a cruise?

According to the Carnival website, your cruise departs at 4PM. It may leave a bit later if there are delays. Muster drill would be around 3:30P.

 

As that's late afternoon, you should be okay with what ever you wish to do that evening/night, so plan away.

Do plan to attend the Welcome Aboard Show at 7:30pm that first night. It is fantastic. Dr E is crazy funny and does some fun stuff. Then the Playlist Performers do a 30+ minute performance. It is really good hour of fun and music.

Hi there OP!!! We are on the same cruise!!!!!:'):'):')

From watching the webcam, WEEKLY, :o, I can tell you the Magic pretty much leaves right on time, at 4pm. She is always the first one out.
