How to get to Wunderland Hamburg Germany

We will be on NCL Jade arriving at the Altona Pier and need info on how to take public transportation to Wunderland for a visit to the model railway.

We walked. Not sure what pier we came into, but it was an easy walk. Maybe 15 minutes. Wunderland was wonderful.

From the Altona cruise center it is certainly more than 15 min. walk....

How did you find out which pier you are arriving at?

You can check the terminal on the Hamburg harbor website. Hamburg currently has 3 cruise terminals (for larger ships, smaller ones can use some more). The HCC-Hafen City which is close to a subway station and also within walking distance of the Miniatur Wunderland. Then HCC-Altona which is downriver of the Landungsbrücken (Hadag Ferry stop Dockland, line 62). And there´s the new one in Steinwerder which is... sort of away from everything - unfortunately.
