Hi,:) I believe your sailing is right before her "Major Redo". Late spring,

early summer is when it is supposed to take place.

After looking at the X website, I see the April 16th sailing is the last one

that shows up for about 5 weeks. I typed in Century for May 2006 and

the first sailing that shows up is 5-30.

It definitely looks like the April 16th Sailing is her last one before the

upgrade.

There is a Celebrity ship right now in drydock at Freeport -- which one?

We saw it while in Freeport on Friday while sailing on Westerdam last week -- due to bad weather we were rerouted to Freeport on Friday!

What you saw was the Horizon which is no longer a Celebrity ship. It is now the Island Star.

Wow, they are getting the ship redone quicker than anticipated. Previously I thought the 1st sailing out was going to be June 2 or 15.

:) Hi,

She's going in after her winter season, and prior to her transat to Europe.

16april06 sailing is the last one. Late May is transat.

I suspect the grandBahamasa shipyard is doing this job....Anybody knows for sure ???

Cheers

My understanding is the crew gets off the ship in Florida and the contractors board. They will do the TA with the contractors starting to rip apart the ship. The drydock itself will be done in Papenburg Germany. Using the same drydock who built her.
