Sapphire Princess

Hi

 

Have only travelled with Princess (Ruby) once before, which was very enjoyable, but we are thinking of taking a Singapore to Southampton cruise in 2019, hopefully with Sapphire Princess, which I believe is doing the same itinerary in 2018.

 

However, I can't find any recent reviews. The thread below only carries feedback up to April 2016:

Does anyone have any later news or info. on likely deployment in 2019 ?

I'm on sapphire from Singapore in Feb 2018. Ive been struggling to find many reviews etc too.

I know she goes into dry dock March 2018 and we miss out on new mattresses

We are on the Sapphire July 2018 and have also looked for news. Where did you find out they were in dry dock in March?

Keith...in previous discussions it was pointed out to me that it's in Singapore where a cruise ends there on the 14th & on the 28th sails for Rome.

 

I'm interested in what will be done because we're sailing the Sapphire around Norway in June 2018. The ship is scheduled to get the Luxury Beds which will be our first cruise with them.

We get back to Singapore on the 14th March (we're doing the South East Asian cruise - 7th - 14th March). It must go into dry dock just after the cruise we're on!

I believe you will not find recent reviews on it because Chinese companies have recently chartered the entire ship to sell cruises to Chinese passengers only. Other news websites appear to confirm this.

Looks like a end date typo that should be March 27th not May 27th.
