RSF Cruiser Posted May 7, 2017 #1 Share Posted May 7, 2017 I just noticed on my TV listings the Smithsonian station has a one hour program on the Fram. The series is called Mighty Ships and the description says it's about ice-choked fjords of Greenland. We're in Pacific Time and the show is scheduled at 5:00 and 8:00. Rare cruisemom42 Posted May 8, 2017 #4 Share Posted May 8, 2017 Great show. I have long been interested in a cruise that would do more than just 1-2 stops in Greenland -- had no idea Hurtigruten offered this itinerary.. It would be quite an opportunity. KirkNC Posted May 8, 2017 #5 Share Posted May 8, 2017 Hurtengruten has several interesting itineraries including Antarctica which includes the Orkney's and South Georgia, Greenland, circumnavigation of Iceland and a circumnavigation of Spitsbergen.
