Arcade method and costs?

Recommended Posts

My wife and I have been on a good number of NCL cruises ... this winter will be a first for us as our Grand Kids will be along. As to the arcade games, does one swipe the room card? And also, about how much are the games?

Thanks...

You swipe the room card and games can range up to $5.

If you can get away with it, try to have them play the coin pusher games sometimes found outside the casino so at least they have a chance of getting some of that money back.

ROFL yeah like those machines pay out, gambling ALWAYS favors the house;p

We have 2 kids -- and they love the arcade. They also like the kids' club. On our last cruise, there were 2 exits from the kids' club, one of which was right next to the arcade. We avoided that exit like the plague and only had to venture into the arcade once, a visit that cost about $30. I don't know if there is a way to limit the amount, but we supervised and finally had to cut them off by telling them it was way past bedtime.

Is there a way to limit the arcade??? Can you put a set amount on the card for it?

You can limit the card and put a set amount but not the arcade specifically. If a kid has a $100 limit for the week, it would be $100 for anywhere. It can't (afaik) be $100 limit but $20 limit in the arcade.

on the BA i didnt mind paying 2 bucks for the 100 hockey puck drop game or whatever its called. was very cool.. you learn to budget the longer games like the motorcycle racing vs some other game you pull a handle and you are done
