Dress code at breakfast

Recommended Posts

Hi all

I am taking my first ever cruise on the navigator of the seas in September, and I see that you can have your breakfast in the main dining room I was just wondering if you would need to wear trousers and shirt or would shorts be acceptable

My husband wore a sleeveless T-shirt to breakfast and they asked him to put on a T-shirt with sleeves. Believe it or not, a woman was also turned away who was wearing a sleeveless shirt at breakfast. Not sure, but I think it was Independence OTS. Never did that again, so I don't know if it was an isolated situation.

It must vary (what doesn't). I've worn tank tops to breakfast. I like to pretend I'm going to go up to the running track and walk it off afterwards.

That happened to our traveling companions on Freedom as well last year. [emoji33]

We were told that one of our teens could not go into breakfast on the last morning because he had a tank top on. Luckily we had a carry on with us so he was able to change into a shirt with sleeves.

Thanks for the reply, and it would be shorts and a polo or tee shirt

Mel

Just make sure your tee shirt has sleeves. Husband was asked to change, his shirt had a regular tee shirt neckline, but did not have sleeves. We had no problem with that, but was upset they didn't continue to enforce dress code at dinner.
