AmeliaAtSea Posted May 27, 2017 #26 Share Posted May 27, 2017 I just knew we couldn't drink soft drinks ALL day like many of our other friends do. I don't think it's an issue for those who do drink soft drinks all day (and not an issue for those that don't--maybe they shouldn't get the package if that's the case). I think my dh will get good use out of BB, which is why I got it for him (the day before the price increase so I don't have to pay $7 more), but the rest of us wouldn't drink enough to make it worth it. I'm just worried about the "warm can poured over a cup of ice" issue more than the price.

Filled with ice, it can keep unopened cans nice and drinkable instead of poured over ice. The cooler from home is a better idea because then you can get two sodas on your way back to the cabin to enjoy that night and again in the morning. Sure, you may find a bartender or 2 that might, but they aren't supposed to and you can't get upset if they say no.

And I don't think he (I got BB for my dh) will want to make sure to grab a can or three from the cabin and carry them around. At meals he's likely to drink 3 or more, for example.
