Colonialdame Posted May 29, 2017 #1 Share Posted May 29, 2017 Are SkySuite tubs slippery or do they have a nonslip bottom? Had a nasty fall once on RCI Grandeur and want to bring a mat if needed.

I do not remember if the sky suites have a nonslip bottom- never had a problem, but if you did on another ship- I would bring a mat- Have a good cruise. bobkat12 Posted May 29, 2017 #3 Share Posted May 29, 2017 We always pack four round non slip pads just for that purpose. They fit in a baggie and work great. Sent from my iPad using Forums

marycruz Posted May 30, 2017 #5 Share Posted May 30, 2017 Are SkySuite tubs slippery or do they have a nonslip bottom? Had a nasty fall once on RCI Grandeur and want to bring a mat if needed. We just got off the Summit last Sunday and were in an S2. They did have something in the bottom that was supposed to be nonslip but my opinion is that is was kind of worn out and very close to the showerhead. I thought maybe they had forgotten to give us a mat but we figured out there was no mat, just the strips at the bottom of the tub. My opinion is that they were not good enough so you probably are safer to bring something on your own or ask the butler or cabin attendant for a mat. cb at sea Posted May 30, 2017 #6 Share Posted May 30, 2017 They supply non-slip mats...if it's not there...simply ask. I hate those things, but more power to ya!
Colonialdame Posted May 31, 2017 Author #7 Share Posted May 31, 2017 Just bought a non slip bath mat at Target. Light weight and won't take up much space. I would gladly forgo a tub/shower combo for a decent sized shower but don't need a handicap room. Many thanks to CC members who have good information to share!
