Does anyone know if Princess will be adding a cruise in Africa next year. I know several years ago they had cruises from Cape Town and then up the west coast. Their website does not list any cruises with a southern Africa itinerary that I could find.

I haven't heard or seen anything. I remember one of the small ships did that itinerary (was it the Pacific?) and quite a few people here on CC did that sailing. Sounded like a very unique way to see Western Africa. If Princess doesn't offer it, I believe HAL, Silversea and Seabourn do.

Unfortunately there is no sign of any sailing to Africa with Princess. The Ocean Princess used to do a couple each year between Cape Town and London/Rome and between Cape Town and Singapore. The Ocean Princess was sold to Oceana.

I think a recently announced World Cruise on the Pacific Princess includes a couple of ports on the west side of Africa during one segment..
