Bottle water

Yes, Carnival no longer allows soft drinks in bottles to be brought onboard including water. Too many people were using that to smuggle their booze onboard. You may purchase a case of 12 bottles from Fun Shop to be delivered to your cabin for $4.99.

What nobody ever mentions is that ALL past guest (yes, even Red Cards) receive a free liter of water in the cabin.

It's NOT the one on the desk that you would be charged for if you drank it, the steward is supposed to bring it to you the first night.

You can still bring water in cans, but we just order ahead of time from the fun shops so it's waiting for us in our cabin. I don't know if you can order a case after you board or not. You can always bring your own water bottle and get water on Lido from the dispenser as well.

We used the free bottle then refilled it. The ice cubes from the lido machine also fit through the bottle opening.

Also if you are a repeat you get 1 bottle per person. If you stay in a suite you get two for the room. So if you are 4 people in a suite you get 6 1L bottles.

Lemonade and tea are still available. As I said you can buy a case of 12 for $4.99, not a crazy price at all (and if you don't pre-buy it I think you can buy it once onboard).

You can indeed buy bottled water once you are aboard the ship. Just call room service and they will deliver to your cabin. A small tip would be appreciated by the staff member carrying your water to you.
