Back to the ship around 2:30 went to Johnny Rockets for late lunch (included with Costco deal)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

More time in the solarium, then did a video tour of the ship with grand daughter, looks like we’ll have to bring her with us on one of these trips.

We didn’t take advantage of the free spa treatment included from Costco travel because it needed to be used the first 4 days and I believe was restricted to a port day. But Getting ready for dinner tonight our phone rings, it was the spa, wanted to know why we didn’t book a massage. Then they scheduled the free massage for my wife the next morning.

No, you just need a valid drivers license. The Trikes in St. Maarten are all automatic, plus they'll give you a short driving lesson before you go.

As mentioned earlier wife got free massage, part of Costco deal

More relaxing in the solarium

 

We may have visited the Next Cruise department and may have booked Harmony of the Seas for May 2018. Took advantage of another Costco deal and kids sail free so we’ll bring our grand daughter (she is 11). Also only $50 deposit and $200 onboard credit.

 

 

 

Lunch was in Windjammer, sat outside again and enjoyed the views

Last December when we were in Aruba we took a tour of the island with Trikes of Aruba. They have recently open a Tour in St. Maarten (they also just opened in Cozumel too) we had such an amazing time we wanted to do this tour in St. Maarten. It did not disappoint.

Our tour didn’t start until 1:30 PM. We had the same tour guide we had in Aruba. Since they just opened this up in St. Maarten, we were the second tour and we were the only ones booked so it was a private tour.

This looks so COOL - I've never heard of a trike tour - I'm going to have to look it up.

Did it go by the beach with the low flying airplanes - I really want to see that in St. Marteen too but I don't know if I can manage both!

Yes we did, we stopped for a drink 5-10 minutes at Maho Beach. We didn't see any large planes land (but we've been there before so no big deal). Maybe when they get this tour in full swing they'll sync up the time you arrive with some landings.

Note the purpose of this tour is driving the Trikes around the island to sightsee, if you want beach time this is not the tour to take.
