Upon arrival at Amsterdam airport (Schiphol) what is the best way to get to the cruise terminal?

 

It's been a few years but from what I remember, we got off a cruise in Amsterdam and took a taxi to the airport and if I recall correctly, it cost us about $45. Have fun!

You can take a train from the airport to Central Station. From there is a much shorter (and cheaper) taxi ride to the cruise port. It can be a little difficult managing luggage on the train but should be doable for most people.

The train line runs right underneath the airport, you can't miss it (look for signs for NS, which is the name of the Dutch railroad company). Taxis from Schiphol to Centraal Station are really expensive and can take a long time if there's traffic.

There is an efficient and very convenient metro system in the bottom level of the airport. Find out where it stops near the cruise port , grab a cheap taxi from there.

We took train to Central Station a few weeks ago. Pretty difficult to get luggage on and off the train. Took a cab from cruise terminal back to airport. Approximately $100.00.

The train runs from Airport to the Central Station. From there you can see the ship and walk to the cruise terminal in five minutes. All very easy!

^^ exactly. Train then short flat walk. Very easy. And cheap.

You can buy tickets for the train at the machine when waiting for the luggage to come out.

It's a nice walk - but more like 15+ minutes, and around 25 with luggage.
